Project Narrative
Murray Hall is a build-out of approximately 10,000 square feet focused on the idea that the current education environment lacks a means to teach students the art and science of transforming ideas into three-dimensional reality. To address this, Murray Hall was designed as a highly flexible, multipurpose space, housing a diverse range of tools, the Makerspace will facilitate hands-on instruction, give students a structured environment that will help them learn the process of making, and provide the space and technology to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. The space also includes flexible research laboratories, offices and spaces for meeting and collaboration.
